Last year I had the incredible opportunity of doing the paper goods, textiles and art for Laura and Justin -- the best clients ever! And now the wedding is featured in the current Martha Stewart Destination weddings issue. You can also view it online here

I had the pleasure of working with some of the most loveliest, talented ladies around AE Events and Brown Paper Designs. It was all such an amazing, transformative experience for me -- I look back with fond memories!!! I wish we could do it over!

We were super lucky to have the opportunity to participate in the Remodelista Sale last Sunday which took place in Mill Valley, CA. It was a rainy, fun day with friends. My husband, Josh (he has a business called Chairtastic) made spoons, Jo & Luke Bartels sold their goods, I sold mine - all in all it was fun day.

HI!
My name is Jen Garrido. Jenny Pennywood is my custom design business name. On this blog I will be posting recent images of completed wedding and event projects, new patterns I have designed, and other custom design stuff. I think I will be also posting inspirations - but still not sure yet about that. I have set a goal that 2010 is the year I am going to build my Jenny Pennywood portfolio. So here is one of my first clients. They are an amazing couple and it has been a total joy to work with them. here is their finished invite. We had it printed on 400lb watercolor paper. Looks like a real watercolor drawing ... I also did the hand lettering and all of the drawings ... I am really happy with it. They are too. Soon I will have images of the other stuff they are having me do: notepad favors, escort cards, thank you cards and custom fabric for the tables. Lindsay and Dan heart triangles ... that was the inspiration for their paper goods.

Just finished 8 x 10" letterpressed 3 color save the date. Illustrations and hand lettering done by me. Envelope is letterpressed too with hand lettering for the addresses.
